Saturday Morning Skating Lessons

Come learn to skate with us!
Western Skateland in Bloomington
Saturday mornings 10:00am to 11:30am
(lessons are occasionally closed for holidays or pre-scheduled special events)
The price for each Saturday roller skating lesson is just $5 and
includes instruction, skates if need them, practice time and plenty of fun.
A bottled water & light snack are also provided during a short break.

Our focus is improving your overall skating skills for fun, fitness, recreation or roller derby.

Open to everyone wanting to learn to roller skate or be a better skater.
New skaters learn to skate while intermediate skaters
and roller derby girls improve their chosen roller skating skills and learn new skills.
All ages welcome! We encourage parents & other adults to join us, too.

Come to Western Skateland at 10:00am on Saturday mornings to get rolling.
(Western Skateland is located just one block West of the shop.)

Steve is a recreational skater, has been skating for fun & fitness for many years and loves skating & teaching others how to skate. Veronica is a recreational and roller derby skater with 16+ years of skating experience. A co-founder of the BHRG Roller Derby League in Bloomington, Veronica loves roller derby and roller skating . Veronica is also co-owner of Rolling Thunder Fun Factory, the place to buy roller skates and derby gear.

We occasionally have guest instructors/coaches come share their experience & guidance to make us all better skaters.
